I reached out to Express Plaster and they responded right away. The bid they gave was fair and appropriate for the work requested. Because it was a smaller job and not an urgent one, I advised that they were free to squeeze it in when they could. Mike was very communicative about the timeline and kept in contact in terms of my dad’s place in the queue. Once they arrived, the job was done professionally and perfectly and was a total transformation of the area resurfaced, and at the price quoted. A great small local company that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Q-what is the difference between joint compound and plaster?

A- joint compound typically only gets applied to board seams and screw caps then sanded smooth or textured, plaster typically gets applied over the entire board and gets trowled smooth or textured
